Terms of Service
Last updated: 13 February 2026
1. About us
This website (tenantslawadvice.com) is operated by Tenants Law (Company No. 04442891), a company registered in England & Wales. Our registered office is 7 Christie Way, Christie Fields, Manchester, M21 7QY, United Kingdom.
2. Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our site. We may update these terms from time to time — the “Last updated” date at the top shows when they were last revised. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
3. What our service does
We help people across the United Kingdom submit legal claims covering a range of claim types, including housing disrepair, road traffic accidents, medical negligence, employers' liability, and public liability. We provide an initial assessment of your claim and, where appropriate, refer you to a panel law firm to handle your case.
We are not a law firm. We do not provide legal advice. The information on this website is for general guidance only and should not be treated as a substitute for professional legal advice. Any solicitor we refer you to is an independent legal practice and is responsible for the advice they give you.
4. Your obligations
When using our site, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and truthful information in any form you submit.
- Use the site only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms.
- Not attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, interfere with the site's operation, or use automated tools to scrape or extract data.
- Not submit any content that is defamatory, offensive, or infringes the rights of others.
5. Referrals, partners, and commissions
Where we refer your enquiry to a panel law firm, we may receive an introduction or referral fee if that firm takes on your case and it proceeds. This fee is paid by the law firm, not by you. It does not affect the price you pay or the legal advice you receive.
Your enquiry is only shared with a partner law firm if you give your consent by ticking the relevant checkbox on the claim form.
6. Intellectual property
All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, images, and software — is owned by or licensed to Tenants Law and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content without our prior written permission.
7. Service availability and changes
We aim to keep the site available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the site at any time without notice.
8. Disclaimers
The site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties or representations, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of the information on this site.
All compensation amounts and case outcomes mentioned on this site are estimates based on similar cases and are not guarantees. Every case is assessed individually. Past results do not guarantee future outcomes.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tenants Law shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the site.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the site shall not exceed the total fees you have paid to us in the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
10. Termination and suspension
We may suspend or terminate your access to the site at any time, without notice, if we reasonably believe you have breached these terms or are using the site in a way that could harm us or other users.
11. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
12. Complaints
If you have a complaint about our service, please contact us at admin@tenantslawadvice.com. We will acknowledge your complaint within 5 working days and aim to resolve it within 20 working days.
13. Contact
If you have any questions about these terms, please email admin@tenantslawadvice.com or write to us at our registered office address.
